RJ Bailot has had a strong sense of compassion for animals since he was a child continuously bringing stray or injured animals.  His passion turned to Activism upon visiting a decrepit roadside zoo in Alberta.  Horrified by the conditions these animals were living in, he decided to do something about it.  He has continued to work tirelessly for the animals and recently was honored with IFAW's prestigious Animal Activist of Year for 2009.
